In 1993, Anthony founded Veritas Investment Management AG on the principle that clients were best served through a partnership culture with wider share ownership, and that trustworthiness and accountability would be the cornerstones upon which long-term success was built. He believed that the key to investment success was a greater focus on in depth understanding of the long-term strengths of selected businesses, rather than on market predictions. Further, with no separation between investing and relationship management, clients would have both their assets and their relationship managed by the same investment partners. In 2004, Veritas merged with The Real Return Group Limited and went on to become the business it is today.
Anthony’s investment experience ranges from corporate finance to portfolio management in the UK and internationally.
He began his wealth management career at Rothschild Bank AG Zurich where he spent six years as a Senior Vice President specialising in international Private Wealth management. He also served on the Board of Rothschild Asset Management Ltd. in London. Anthony holds a variety of other trusteeships, including the Jerusalem Foundation UK, the Sir Martin Gilbert Learning Centre and Genesis Research Trust at Imperial College, London.
Anthony holds a B.Sc. (Econ) from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
