Sam joined the team in 2019 and is responsible for managing client portfolios with a particular focus on charity clients. She contributes to the governance of the investment process as a member of the firm’s Investment Governance Committee. She also has responsibilities for our responsible investing and stewardship work, chairing both our ESG Regulation Working Group and the Stewardship Working Group.
Sam began her career at Schroder Investment Management as a European equity research analyst before moving to Henderson Global Investors as a fund manager in both the European and then the Global Sustainable Equity team. She has also worked in South Africa in a range of roles at Pearson and STANLIB.
Sam holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Institute of Investment Management and Research qualification. In her free time, Sam has spent time uncovering the mysteries of machine learning and enjoys the arts and music. She holds a Master of Physics from the University of Oxford.
