Meridiem Investment Management (Meridiem) has today, 22 May 2025, announced it will change its name to Navera Investment Management. Nothing else is changing – its long-term investment philosophy, its team and employee ownership remain the same.
In January 2024, the company successfully secured trademark approval and registered its name, Meridiem Investment Management, with Companies House in March 2024. During this process no objections were raised regarding the registration of and intended use of the trademark Meridiem.
In May last year, an objection was raised to the use of the Meridiem name by a non-UK domiciled company. The Meridiem Board engaged constructively to resolve this matter amicably and ultimately took the pragmatic decision to adopt a new name to avoid any unnecessary distraction. Meridiem’s top priorities continue to be delivering returns ahead of inflation and serving its clients in the best way it can.

The name change will take effect following registration with Companies House. This change will have no impact on the company’s operations or ability to serve its clients. Clients, intermediaries, investee companies, and suppliers have been proactively informed to ensure a seamless transition.
